One on One Tuition

PowerMax is dedicated to helping you get the most out of your Mac experience. Training can take you from feeling slow and sometimes frustrated to being confident and competent with your computer. Bring your Mac to our store for some one on one tuition that is tailored to your needs and wishes. Topics covered include: Mac fundamentals, getting the most from the Web, iPhoto, iTunes, iMovie, Pages, Keynote, Photoshop and more.

Training is also available on-site at your home, office or school, the cost is $55 per hour plus $10/10 mins travel time.

Workshops

We run monthly workshops.

In late 2010 our new, purpose built training room will be opening. This will be a space dedicated to group learning, with a projector and wall screen so everyone can follow the facilitator as they share skills on topics as diverse as 'Macs for beginners' to 'GarageBand - DIY sound studio'. A full list of courses offered and dates will be posted shortly.

Suggestions for courses are welcome, drop us an email of what you would like to learn, and we will try make it happen! Also those with a skill they would like to share are welcome to apply to use our training space.
