Privacy Policy

Customers trust us with valuable and sometimes sensitive information.


  • We always respect customers’ privacy while working on their Mac, iPhone or iPad.
  • We never gather customer’s Apple ID information.
  • Technicians only ever access customer data when it is required in order to fulfil the requested service.
  • If possible, we recommend creating a non-admin account for PowerMax on drop off.
  • If needed, we will assist you to change your account password at drop off to a generic password.
  • Any admin passwords that are gathered, are stored securely, and only gathered when absolutely necessary. For example, a data recovery service may require your admin or File Vault password.
  • All credit card information is stored securely and is not accessible in any online system.
  • Information that has been copied from a customers device for back up or data transfer will be stored securely and deleted after transfer.
  • Technicians do not discuss any information that is not directly relevant to a repair with other staff.
  • No staff member has the right to discuss any customers’ personal information outside of work.
  • Staff maintain a professional manner in all customer interactions.
  • Customers are treated with respect at all times.
